Okay so it has been a minute since I have blogged. I have too many interested and not enough time for them all!! Drats. But, I will never stop blogging..although I may have dry periods. Ew...dry periods..anyways..yes, I have issues.

So, a couple weeks ago the BFF brought Hunter (her cat) over to spend time with Leo (my cat). He didn't like him. So next week she is doing it again. If he still doesn't like him after their second visit, I probably will not worry about him getting a social life anymore. That is, until a couple more years when I talk Jason into letting me have an additional kitty. Hehe.

Speaking of which, Jason and I are doing wonderful. And I have finished rewriting the first chapter of Grimdale Legends, the novel I've been writing. For now, I am working on the outline--trying to get the structure and everything perfect, before I continue writing anymore. I had much of the book written in third person, but it bored me, so first person was chosen. Much more intense, and intimate. Although, you see life through Gabriella's eyes and not the main male character, I hope I don't lose male readers for this reason...but I may write another book in his eyes...or at least a few chapters life Stephanie Meyer did in the Twilight books. I thought that was nice.

I got hired for Dating Head Shots, basically I shoot people for their dating profiles..lol..I start that next month. We will see how that goes...

Waiting on my check from the IRS right now...come on!! I have too much to pay off, and $1,000.00 to put towards our Disney vacation next month. It will be mine, Jason's, and Kacie's first time seeing Disney world, and Jason and Kacie's first time seeing the ocean!!! How cool is that? I'm so excited I can't contain it.

Aldi Review: 90% Good Products

My Aldi review is basically that Aldi has about 90% good products.
Before I started shopping at Aldi, I thought the food would be unhealthy and crappy, much like how I thought about Save-A-Lot. I refuse to shop there...so when Aldi came along I refused to shop at Aldi too. Well,...more and more I would hear people talking about it so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did.

Almost everything I've tried from there is great. And now, they even carry my favorite pizza. You know the huge pizzas Walmart has? Well Aldi has the same exact ones for 5-6 bucks a piece, instead of Walmarts 8-10. Many items actually taste GOOD, and not cheap. Here is a list of my great finds and favorite Aldi items that actually taste GREAT and sometimes better than their competition brands.

All of these Aldi items taste great...

All Clancy's brand pretzels and chips, frozen pizzas, my favorite pizza "Reggios cheese pizza" WOW!!! The best ever, crystal lights, orange and mountain dew soda (the 7up isnt so good), cheeses, greek yogurts, all the millville cereals, french onion dip (its only 1.09 and taste exactly like prarie farms at 3.00), the milk is wonderful, eggs are fine, fruits are all fine except the apples go bad quickly unless you get the honey crisp apples they are amazing. I've read other aldi reviews and my aldi review here is totally honest and not a paid sponsor post.

A couple notes... we don't like their loaves of bread, except for the oat bread. Also, the starbucks imitations aren't good. Those are really the only bad things I've found for this aldi review. Feel free to ask questions!! Aldi is definitely worth giving a try.

This is my review of the The Little Red Book of Wisdom.

This book written by Mark Demoss contains practical guidance in all types. Demoss explains his biblical philosophies without "preaching" or shoving his views down your throat. The things he says will make you think, instead of feel pressured to believe one way or another. Sometimes, it helps you decide what you believe just by hearing others thoughts. Personal matters are also covered in a gentle, easygoing way. This little book might be a good inspiration for you if you are stuck in a rut in life and need a little guidance, or just need a strangers opinions and thoughts. Demoss challenges you with a variety of philosophies that he practices himself. The big message here is that if you work hard, and love what you do, success and good things will come your way. You may not be a millionare but you will feel like your life is complete and you can feel proud of yourself if you stand behind what you believe in and you do the things you do for you and not everyone else.

What I like about them is the unique head peices that match the different color schemes, and also there are black which you don't always find. Mommy's Black Friday 2011 Trip

It all started at 7:00 pm Thursday night. I went to look online at Best Buy's deals...and omg...their store sale items were ALREADY available online. I quickly grabbed our Best Buy credit card and looked up the items I wanted. Some things were already sold out online...but what was my most amazing find?

Well, shit... I run back into my office, whip out the Debit card... put things in my cart. What were my most amazing finds?

We get inside and it's about 8:30. We realize Walmart had a change of plans and instead of putting items in our carts and waiting until 10 to checkout..the weasels had all their BF Sale items on pallets in the center of the isles wrapped in shrink wrap with signs saying no touching until 10!!! What happens? Heards of people start piling around the pallets. Me and Bev were at the $2.86 waffle makers and food choppers. Hells yeah!! Original price $12.99 Sale Price $2.86. Katie was stationed at the Tupperware (needles to say, the Tupperware she was supposed to grab at 10 didn't get grabbed cuz she got bored and went gun shopping)... anyways, Deanna was back in toys. 9:15..."OKAY SINGLE FILE LINE EVERYONE WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE GETTING HURT! IF ANYONE IS SEEN GETTING ANY ITEMS BEFORE 10 YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT." Everyone is yelling and panicking thinking they are not gonna get their damn $2 waffle maker. So they let the people who have been their all night in the front of the line. Bev stays stationed there to get us all ours...I move down to the vacuums and these smoothie blenders me and Jason want...original price $44.99 sale price $18.99. I wanted a mini vac down on the end, but was afraid I wouldn't be able to get the blender and squeeze there to get the vacuum...so I made a deal with a stranger...she would get me and her a vac and I would get my blender and her one of these crock pots next to my blender. It was chaos.

10:00 hits.
Maybe we should have skipped WalMart black friday.
Too late.

Thank god I'm 5'11 :) People were begging me to hand them crock pots when they saw me in the front. So I handed a few out and squeezed my way out of there. Quickly exchanging items with the stranger I made a deal with...a total Walmart black Friday cliche.

I glance over to see Bev...couldn't. Too many people...everyone screaming and crap flying around. I was LOLing as I tried to squeeze back to the toys...I couldn't get back there. Change of plans. Got a text from Katie "In lane 5 bitch." I turned around and headed towards her...10 minutes later...I made it through the 3 isles I needed to get to lane 5 where Katie was. We talked for a minute and I decided to try the toys again. Finally after having to move a pajama pallet and running over a girl's foot (sorry) I get to the toys. Grabbed my daughter's table and chairs set original price 39.99 sale price 20.00 and grabbed a handful of barbies original price 12.99 sale price 5.00 and got a text from Katie saying she found monster high dolls on the floor did I want them. Yes...original price 19.99 sale price 10.00. I get up to our lane and found Bev. Put all my stuff from my cart into hers. She was upset that she couldn't get to the kids pajamas. I remember wanting some too...she waited in line...Katie and Deanna in line together up ahead. I ran back to the pajamas, squeezing and moving crap around....I get there...clothes are flying mid-air...I get down on my knees and start digging through the girls...got Bev a few pair for her grand kids and got me some for Kacie original price 10.00 sale price 4.36. I look up...to stand up and I can't. There's too many arms and people almost laying across the pajama stand. I'm stuck on my knees for a few minutes and finally I see a light. I barge up and through it and run back to lane 5. Throw the stuff in our cart and at the checkout there was a few movies someone didn't want and they were on the coke cooler thing...original price 9.99 sale price 1.84...me and Bev found one we both liked. Hehe...checked out...shoved our crap in the back of the truck and we all finally breathed. Then talked about how we almost died. XD

Next...Bev was done and we took her home. Katie, Deanna, and I went to Denny's to eat and wait for other places to open. We did run by Toys R Us later on after most things cleared and Deanna got some things she still needed and I picked up a couple things. Then Target...that was another story. Surprisingly, the crowd was only about half that Walmart was..and there was still stuff left!! YAY...however...we ended up waiting over an hour in a huge massive line that went through about 15 isles curving around the store. We also went to the mall and hit Old Navy..got some long sleeve shirts original price $15 sale price $5...scarves original price 8.99 sale price $1.00...and some other things. The gap had clothes 50-70% off...we went there and we hit bath and body works...I used my coupon in a previous post and bought 3 things and got 4 for free..and SCREW CABELA'S. When we left the mall the Cabela's line at 4:30 am (store didn't open til 5) wrapped completely halfway around the outside of the mall. There must have been 400+ people in line. After this...our trip was through. I finally got home a 6:00 in the morning. And that was my black friday trip...I'm still sleepy and I don't think I am caught up yet. Went to sleep at like 8, and woke up at 12.

Walgreen's Extreme Couponing

I have always been a couponer...mostly when it comes to finding good sales that I already have a coupon for that product. However, Walgreen's Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale was pretty huge if you are a Register Rewards recycler. Walgreen's extreme couponing is easy. First of all, what are Register Rewards? Well...they work like CVS's easy care bucks. Every week a chosen handful of items (new ones every week) give you register rewards for purchasing them. Out of that handful, 1 - 3 items give you the same amount in Register Rewards that the item cost. Register Rewards can be used just like cash on your NEXT purchase and they can all be used at the same time if you wish.

So, what you do is start out with around $10 - 20.00. Purchase items that give you RRs. For example, Shampoo is 2/$6 and you get $4 in RRs. Purchase enough stuff to start out with atleast $5-10.00 in RRs.

Return the following week and only purchase items that give you the same amount of RRs back. For example, toothpaste is $2 and you earn $2 in RRs. Gather up your items, pay with the previous week's RRs and get new RRs. Bingo. You are now getting free items from Walgreen's every single week and will never need to pay a dime and have begun Walgreen's extreme couponing.

If you have another Walgreen's close by, you can do this at one...go to the other one and do it again. Double free items every week. It also doesn't hurt to occasionally get RR's on items that are like $4 and you get 3 or 3.50 back in RRs, but just stick to as close as you can without losing any RRs.

My last Walgreen's trip was amazing because they had tons of RR items for their Thanksgiving sale. So I got everything in the photo for free....and I got $9.50 in RRs, plus a 0.55 gift card. What happened was I went to Walgreen's A and bought items that gave me $10 RRs. I went to Walgreen's B and bought 9.45 worth of items and paid with $10 RRs and they gave me the extra 0.55 on a gift card...so...I got paid to buy stuff that I actually got for free. Then my receipt gave me a code to get a free RedBox rental! And that's how you do Walgreen's extreme couponing. :)

My kids have always shown an interest for getting involved in the kitchen. I guess that it's not really surprising, because I'm always cooking and kids can definitely be really curious. I encourage that curiosity because I didn't learn how to cook until I was an adult and I think that's because I never cared to learn about cooking as a kid and my mom didn't force me to learn anything. I don't want to force them to learn anything either, but I'll embrace them wanting to learn.

I told them that they could be in charge of one dessert this year because some of our relatives are bringing other desserts and dishes. I helped them search for recipes online with our wireless internet Cypress and they decided that they wanted to fix pumpkin pie.

I didnt' tell them that pumpkin pie is one of the easiest desserts to fix ever, but I was glad that they picked that because it would be easy for them to make a really good pie and receive lots of compliments on it.

Book Review: What in The World is Going On?

Do you ever wonder what is going on in the world today? Our planet is in dissaray due to political problems, social influences, and even weather disasters. David Jeremiah, the author of this book, goes into detail about certain cues we cannot afford to ignore. Jeremiah did extensive research on these topics before writing this book and his opinions and ideas may give you some spiritual insight as to what in the world is going on. The end of times is explained and theories pointing to how it is happening right now. This books ends with much discussion on Jesus Christ and how he will return at the end of days to judge us all.

I would have to say this book was very interesting but I did feel it would have been better if more theories were also included, besides only the Christian religion theory of what is going to happen at the end of times.

How to Make Dense Cupcakes

My daughter's 4th birthday is coming up in May and this year I want to bake all of her birthday treats myself! I am going to be making cupcakes and cookies. Every time I have made cupcakes they were always too light and fluffy. I always wondered how to make dense cupcakes. I think I might be surprised how many other mommies out there also have this problem and want to know how to make dense cupcakes. Therefore, today, I have researched and discovered that you shouldn't go by the recipe on the back of the box if you want to make dense cupcakes. I have hunted and searched and here is the recipe I have found most other mommies are using to make dense cupcakes.

First, the secret ingredient to add is one pouch of Jello Instant Pudding Mix per each box of cake mix. Match the flavors. So, if you are making chocolate cake, use chocolate pudding, etc. If you are making a colored cake, such as strawberry, I assume you should just use vanilla.

So we have:

1 box Cake Mix
1 4 Serving Size Pouch of Instant Pudding
4 Egg Whites
1/2 cup of Water
1/3 cup of Oil

Oil helps in moistness so if these aren't moist enough, try 1/2 cup of oil instead.

Some people add 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and/or 1 cup of sour cream. I believe the sour cream adds to the denseness. Also, use a spoon--not a mixer. Less air, more dense.

You can also put stuff inside the cupcakes. I am thinking pudding, mouse, or chocolate decadent syrup. But, do to this you just cut a scone out of the top of the cupcake, then replace it and frost.

I am going to use white cake mix, and pink and purple food coloring to layer the colors of cupcake and make the cake purple and pink swirled. I think for icing I will just use white and have food coloring to make some pink and some purple...then add little sparkles since she is having a princess themed party.

There you have it. The recipe for how to make dense cupcakes.

This is my first post for this year. Kind of sad. I erased half my old entries to clear up some space but hopefully I will start blogging again.

There was a deodorant deal where you could buy 6 deodorants for 15 bucks + earn 5 bucks back in ECBs, plus there were 3.00 off 2 coupons you could use for the deodorants making the deal about a buck for 6 degree deodorants, but the website with the coupons stopped them yesterday before I could print mine off! Darn! The 2.19 for a gallon of milk is currently the cheapest milk you can find in Evansville.

My CVS Deals rating for this week: 2 out of 5 stars. I hope next week makes up for it! Had I got in on the deodorant deal I would be giving this week 4 out of 5 stars.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken

I don't normally post recipes on here, but I made this insanely delicious parmesan crusted chicken last night and I thought I would post the recipe on here anyways. :)

Parmesan Crusted Chicken
------------------------
Ingredients: 6 Boneless Chicken Breasts, Parmesan Cheese, Butter, Garlic Salt (Or garlic powder and salt), and Italian Bread Crumbs or Shake N' Bake.

I bought a bag of chicken breasts from Walmart for like 6 bucks and then Aldi sells this YUMMY canister of Italian Bread Crumbs for less than 2 bucks and it's a huge canister that I used 3 times on chicken before it ran out. Amazing deal and it tastes good too.

Anyways, in one bowl combine 1 stick of melted butter, 1 tsp. garlic salt, and about 1 cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese. (The kind you sprinkle on spaghetti)

In the second bowl, pour the bread crumbs.

Preheat the oven to 375.

Take your chicken breasts and rinse them off, then cut off any fatty parts. Using kitchen shears, cut the chicken breasts into three pieces.

Dip each piece thoroughly in the butter mixture first, then the bread crumbs.

Place each piece on a greased glass casserole dish. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour.

They were insanely delicious! Enjoy.

I thought I would update everyone on my work from home progress.

Demand Studios - I've been doing loads of title work lately, more so than my article writing. I recently emailed the team asking if there are any other positions in the titling department that I could also do, as well as TitleQA.

eHow - Ah, love this place. My earnings are very slowly going up. But, I haven't been writing there much. I currently have 45 articles and my earnings are 44.00 per month. Last month I had 40 articles with my earnings at 39.00 per month. I really need to set aside a day of just writing there. I could really make some insane money. It's lifetime revenue, what is better than that?

Swagbucks - This is a nice site. Lol. My husband spent his 110 swagbucks on a new video game. (Of course, does he ever make purchases that are NOT video games? NO!) Anyways, I have 70 swagbucks right now. I don't use the site much. I try to get 1 buck per day and just save them.

Dyalogues - I participated in 1 debate last month, I got my 10.00 deposited via paypal this month for it.

You Data - They dont' seem to have as many advertisements as they used to when I first signed up. I'm getting about 30 cents a week at most. But it only takes half a minute to do.

FusionCash - Getting paid for doing free offers, it's nice. I've got another 30 bucks racked up for this month. I need to complete a few more offers before I am eligible to cash out because most of the 30 bucks is from referral rewards.

Free Wii This is a let down!!! 6 Months and 0 referrals! I need 5 to get a free Wii! :(

Cloud Crowd on Facebook - Another MAJOR let down! :( They email me these alerts saying they have work available and I go there, there's nothing there! They told me that new people start out with a score of 30, and the only work available is for people who have scored 40+ but yet they told me the only way to raise your score is by doing good work, but if they won't give you a CHANCE to get your score up then how the hell are you supposed to ever get any work??? I'm confused...they aren't helping me understand it...I can't find anywhere that explains all of this...so Cloud Crowd for Facebook is getting a big thumbs down/bad review from me.

Prizelive keeps telling me I have new referrals in my email, but when I go to the site it says I have 0 referrals. Annoying.

Then I came across a website that buys old books--textbooks, fiction, etc. They have this awesome thing where you simply enter the barcode number and they will give you a price for which they are willing to pay for your used book! I entered it in and wham...27 bucks...plus you get to print out a shipping paper to attach to your shipping box for FREE shipping! Eric found an old book from ITT Tech YEARS ago...and it was in pretty used shape if you know what I mean, we looked it up and it was also 27 bucks! We put the books in a box and used the free shipping label. About 1 week later (today) $54.00 was deposited into our paypal account! We were sitting on 54 bucks for awhile and didn't even know it. What a nice little surprise. This company hires writers who have excellent English and grammar skills to write 250 to 500 word articles for web content. You have to supply a resume with credit showing your experience in the writing field. You also have to supply them with a writing sample. They pay $7.50 per short article and $15.00 per big article. I average $20.00 per hour. I am also a title proofer. I check the quality of title articles that go through the system for correct grammar, punctuation, and I make sure the titles make sense. If not I reject them, or send them to the title editors to be edited. This position can be obtained after being a writer for awhile. They also hire copy editors if you have 5+ years experience in the copy editing field. They give you a scorecard and if your articles are not up to par, you will be fired.

eHow.com
This place also pays you to write articles. (They are own by Demand Media, Inc. who also runs Demand Studios.) You choose the topic, but make sure it is in their "how to" format. Write what you love. You earn more money if your articles are search engine optimized. If you don't know what that means, I'm not explaining it Lol...google it. It is basically how you get more hits to your page. Anyways, you are paid through article views and ad clicks. For example, I have written 45 articles and I average $40.00 per month. If I never go to the website ever again, I will continue to get $40.00 per month from them for the rest of my life, because it is lifetime revenue, until I die or the website shuts down. :) That is the joy of it. They periodically check articles to make sure you are following their guidelines and they delete bad articles.

Very similar to eHow but they pay you up front + revenue. eHow only pays revenue. However, I think the revenue is a bit lower than with eHow but if you enjoy up front money as well then this place is it. Article writing of course. :) They only pay around $2.00 to $4.00 per 500 word article, but you get hired right away and you earn revenue on each article you write. Once again, if you know what search engine optimization is, you can direct more traffic to your articles which means more money.

Textbroker
Another article writing job. They don't pay as good as Demand Studios, but they pay decent most of the time. You earn about 2.50 for a 250 word article, up to about 5.00 I think it is. I haven't written for them since I got hired at DS, but I used to. They can pay you through paypal too. Getting hired is much easier than with DS. This place has lower standards.

LeapForce
LF hires people to view URLS and categorize them, check them for spam, etc. Occasionally, you will have to view adult websites. You need to have a wide knowledge of the internet, search engine optimization, and spam--how to spot spam on a website. They pay $13.50 per hour. They do quality checks and they do fire people for not doing their work correctly.

I do this for a little extra income. It's easy. You get $5.00 for signing up as a bonus. You then answer surveys or complete offers. I only complete the free offers, no credit cards are required. You get paid between some change and a few bucks per offer. Here's my secret: Once you earn $25.00 you can cash out. You make $3.00 per person that you refer. You can post ads on Craigslist to refer people, or on forums. I refer people until I have referred $25.00 worth of people and then I complete an offer(s) that pays at least $15.00. This is usually an offer that will cost you money, but it is always less than the reward. So for example, I refer 10 people--my account has $30.00 in it. In order to cash out, you must complete at least $15.00 in offers, not referrals. I then go and complete the 15 in referrals, most offers are free and then one big one. I will end up spending about $10.00 and gaining around $50.00. You can also wait until you referrals is higher, then spend about 10 bucks and cash out--which is what I did my first month. I paid $10.00 to sign up for kings.com. They rewarded me with $15.00 which met my minimum goal. I cashed out and received a check (that can be cashed at Wal-Mart) for $68.05. You can also have them pay you through paypal.

Mechanical Turk
Although they don't pay much, they do pay. If you're desperate you can make a few extra bucks here. This place is ran through Amazon.com. The clients hire people (like you) to work from home with your computer by doing very small and easy tasks that a computer cannot do. Some jobs range from looking up people's phone numbers to spotting differences in pictures. It's that easy. Only problem, the pay is low. I completed 60 tasks and I only have $3.50 in my account...the minimum for a payout is 5 bucks...Lol. I just don't have time for this one, but if I didn't have a good paying job and was desperate I would do more work here. It's very easy to get hired. You simply sign up and get started.

LiveWork
This place looks awesome. I just did a couple of tests and applied with them just to check them out. It's kind of like KGB meets Mechanical Turk. Many tasks are answering questions but you get paid 28 cents per answer, instead of only 10 cents which is what KGB pays. I used to work for KGB, it sucks and I wouldn't recommend it if you want to earn more than minimum wage. I make about 5 bucks an hour and I was working at top speed. It's BS. Anyways, for providing longer answers to questions you can earn .64 per answer. They also occasionally have special studies wanting people of certain age groups to review websites and write a short paragraph about the site. Those jobs pay 9.00 per task, which you can do 2 or 3 per hour. Those positions are rare though, but I have seen them!

Survey Head
Take a few boring surveys, make a few extra bucks! Get 5.00 for joining.

This place sends you emails after emails. You earn a few cents for each one you open. You can also earn money by referring people!!! Which is where I take action, just like with Fusion Cash mentioned above. This place is legit, just like everything else on this post on how to make money from home with your computer. I recommend creating a new email account or using a junk one you don't care about to sign up for this site.

You Data
Simple! Sign up, go there once a week...spend a couple minutes clicking on their ads and earn a few bucks. Doesn't pay much but when you are broke and might need toilet paper, you can get some and it only takes a few minutes a week! Their advertisers are actually really neat websites that you would probably enjoy seeing anyways. This is an easy way to make money from home with your computer.

MedQuist
This site pays about $10.00 per hour doing medical transcriptions from home. The tests are hard and I heard you have to get at least a 98% to get hired. I just took the test. You can use Google to find answers though, but it's still a hard test. If you know anything at all about the medical field, or you just want to try your luck--visit the website and click on careers. A transcriptionist listens to recordings and types up documents per the recordings, in case you were wondering.

Essay Writers
If you are even more advanced than I am at writing, check this place out. You write essays for high school and college students but the ones I've tried to do so far have been confusing and I didn't finish. I haven't been back, even though I got hired which was a process in itself. I may check back time to time. You can get like $50.00+ for writing an essay though.

Dyalogues
Not sure if they are hiring. They don't hire much. You debate with someone about a topic once or twice per month and they pay you $10.00 each time you do. It's fairly new and still in beta. I debated with someone about Octomom which was fun for me anyways and got $10.00 last month so that was cool.

Rat Race Rebellion
An awesome site with great links to call center jobs and other types of work that you can do from home with your computer. Be aware, sometimes a few scammers links get through the cracks on this site, but most things are legit.
